Build and Design
When choosing a laptop, the design is going to be very important. Everyone wants to be the individual that stands out from the crowd. The beautiful Acer Aspire TimelineX AS4830T-6402 14-Inch Aluminum Laptop, in Cobalt Blue metallic, and cool gray, will do the job. The design and quality of the Acer is built to be carried around all day if needed and can take the bumps and rapid movements of daily routines. Engineered for light weight and quality the Acer AS4830T is made of sturdy aluminum with the ability to take on those many shocks or drops of the day. Pointed corners are rounded off for safety, and the thin body of the laptop is a desirable quality to save on bulk in the briefcase or backpack.
The Acer 4830T Timeline is thinner and more lightweight then the generation of computers that have come out before and are easier to be carried for long periods of time if traveling or walking the halls of school. The shinny metallic body of the Acer prevents finger prints from sticking and all it needs is a damp cloth for cleaning. Larger screens are easier to see and the Acer 4830T has added more light for easier reading to avoid headaches that come with having to squint to see the screen properly.
Display and Speakers
High quality features displayed on a wide screen are a must when viewing a movie. Colors are more vibrant with high definition when watching a video or movie online. When playing games that have a lot of detail and action, a clear wide screen will bring every movement to life.
Listening to music or a movie is best with stereo surround sound and the Acer 4830T comes with feature enhancements of an audio optimizer and regulator and a volume level control. It also comes with an enhancer to hear conversations clearly throughout the room. Speakers with high quality surround sound will give many hours of listening pleasure when movies and music are played. Advanced technology has created LCD screens that give you great images for viewing. The Acer 4830T 14-inch screen with high quality resolution will last much longer then those with lower resolution features. There is no need to buy an external video cam; the Acer has one built in with high quality from its crystal eye resolution feature. The video manager for conferences will give you high quality contrast with high definition for all those corporate and business meetings that are important.
Ports and Features
The most important port of all is the one that connects to the internet. Being connected allows you to shop, socialize research information, share photos, and save all those daily routines. The USB port shares photos from cameras and cell phones. The Acer 4830T also has ports for headphones and a speaker jack. A microphone can also been connected.
Keyboard and Touchpad
The Acer 4830T keyboard comes in a beautiful chocolate color and can be easily cleaned between the keys. The touchpad with finger scroll, printed media controls printed on the keyboard itself, and pause/play, previous, stop, and volume all on the pad, need cleaning with a damp cloth to keep the pad from being sticky.
The touchpad is made of high quality and is very durable, yet sensitive to the touch for proper movement. Quality features and performance are an important part of the Acer 4830T for complete customer satisfaction.
Performance
The Acer 4830T memory drive can hold more intricate photos as well as lengthy documents and files needed for work. With its multimedia card, and extended memory capacity, a backup memory drive won’t be needed. If the memory drive is quickly filled up with information then the speed of the laptop retrieving information will slow down. This won’t happen with your Acer laptop. Speed is an important factor for meeting deadlines as well as enjoying social events on the internet. You’ll have all the memory you need for those important business conferences as well as family fun.
Battery Life
The lithium battery in the Acer 4830T has an 8 hour life span and can be taken anywhere you want so you can complete your work. This is a very important feature for those who are traveling or who want to enjoy being outdoors and still get their work done. Low quality batteries last only about an hour or so and can interrupt what needs to be done when it dies off so fast. A quality battery will last three or more hours and the lithium battery in the Acer will give you 8 hours, and will not cause problems by heating up when working on important projects.

Anyone who needs to carry around their laptop on a daily basis, the Acer Aspire TimelineX AS4830T-6402 14-Inch Aluminum Laptop would be ideal.
